Tribal Print & Fall Color Report

In some parts of the country kids will be heading back to school soon and thoughts are turning to fall.  However, summer is still going strong in Seattle - as a matter of fact, this is the warmest, least rainy month of the year here.  Swimsuits and shorts won't be put away for at least four more weeks.

I love to wear color, probably because the weather is so gray most of the time - I feel like I need to compensate!  It's no surprise that I really like the Tribal print trend - the colors are so vibrant and fun.  I bought this top in the spring but have been getting lots of use out of it this summer.   I paired it here with shorts, but it could be easily dressed up with a skirt or cropped jeans.

Even though it's warm and sunny, I know that fall is right around the corner.  Pam at over50feeling40 wrote a post yesterday about Pantone's top ten colors for fall, which were actually released during New York Fashion Week back in February.

Aren't they pretty?  I'm really excited about each of these saturated colors, especially the blues and pinks.  I think every color is represented in my Tribal print top!

Will you be wearing any of these colors this fall?
