Ten Things To Do In Seattle

I've lived near Seattle for 35 years and have spent lots of time exploring this beautiful city.  I was very honored to be asked by my good friend Rena to do a guest post on her site The Million Mile Blog about my top ten things to do when visiting Seattle.

Rena actually writes two outstanding blogs - The Million Mile and The Diary Of An Alzheimer's Caregiver.  She is an amazing person with a very inspirational life story, who is now taking care of her mother full time.  Her blogs are uplifting and beautiful, and I never miss a post.

I hope you'll head over to The Million Mile Blog and find out what to do the next time you're in Seattle.  Now that I think about it, I should have added an eleventh thing.  Be sure to leave time to have coffee with me!

  1. I visited Seattle years ago and I remember being terrified of going up in the Space Needle. The other thing I remember was shopping at Nordstrom! Heading over to check out Rena's post!

    1. Shopping at Nordstrom is a must! Those outside elevators on the Space Needle are kind of scary.

  4. I went over there, but couldn't figure out how to leave a comment. So I'll leave it here. Great list! I love Seattle, that's where my In-Laws live. Although it's cold there now, so no visiting till at least the Spring! :)

  6. I have driven through Seattle... or should I say someone drove me through... :) It was when I was visiting Oregon in the summer of 1995... my mom was born and raised there... I had 3 older sisters and I spent a month with one of them... I love that state... I can imagine Seattle is wonderful too... The west coast is a gorgeous place... If I could move anyway... I would move to BC, to have the best of both and then I would be close enough to travel down the West coast and see those states... xox

    1. The West coast is very beautiful, and there's nothing quite like it anywhere else. Hope you get to come back again someday!
