5 Great Products From Glossybox

I have a tendency to find something I like and stick with it for years, which is great for husbands and cars, but not so good for makeup and skin products.

Last year my sister told me about Glossybox, a beauty product subscription service.  For $21.00 a month (includes shipping) I receive a package filled with five new "beauty treats" to try.  I was skeptical that I would enjoy getting random products sent to me, but the majority of the things I've received have been useful.  Most of the items are full sized and the retail price of the products always far exceeds the $21 fee.

Today I want to share the top five beauty products I've received over the past year.

--Mastey Leave In Oil Treatment.

I have very thick, wavy hair that is prone to frizz, and I've tried dozens of leave in conditioners.  Mastey oil is the best.  Not only does it leave my hair soft, manageable and frizz free, the time it takes to dry is cut almost in half.  A little goes a long way, and a 2 oz. bottle lasts about six months.

--Juice Beauty Green Apple Age Defying Moisturizer

Glossybox sends out lots of body/face moisturizers, but Juice Beauty has been my favorite.  It goes on smooth with no greasiness, and the scent is divine.  I've been using it for several months, and it has helped a bit with fine wrinkles and age spots.

--Nails, Inc. Matte Finish Top Coat

This product is really fun.  Apply it as a top coat over any other polish to give the final look a matte finish.  I love that it dries really quickly.

--Rituals Yogi Flow Foaming Shower Gel

This delicious smelling shower gel transforms into a rich foam on contact with water.  My skin is usually dry during the winter, but this product is so moisturizing I have needed to apply very little lotion this season.

--Wink Eyelash Enhancer

Of all the products I've received in my Glossybox, this has been the biggest surprise.  I don't have naturally full or long eyelashes, but after a month of using the Wink serum, I noticed a big difference.  I apply it at night after I've taken out my contacts and washed my face, and my lashes are definitely longer and fuller.  Wink can also be used on eyebrows to help regrow thinning areas.

If you enjoy trying the latest products, or like me you need a little nudge to get outside of your beauty comfort zone, I recommend giving Glossybox a try.  I guarantee you will find something new and fun to add to your routine!

  2. I receive an Ipsy box every month, Lana, but it's similar. I have found some great products by using this little service and I always love getting packages in the mail!

  3. Great feedback on the Wink serum. I had heard about this about a month of so ago but was skeptical because I didn't know anyone who had tried it. I don't have full or long lashes either and can't seem to find a mascara that I love so maybe this will help making them look this way so I won't be so caught up in how the mascara performs.

  5. I Love my Glossy Box!!! I am like you and tend to get in a product rut, so branching out to new brands and products has been so fun. I love Rituals Yogi Flow, too, and now you have me hoping to receive the Wink & Matte finish top coat. When I first subscribed I thought I would be doing posts like these and I still haven't done the first one. Maybe soon...

  9. I want the eyelash enhancer! Every so often I see a subscription box I really love. Mostly it's GlossyBox. I haven't pulled the trigger yet but I'm such a product junkie and I am all about sampling. Generally that turns into a sale too!

    1. If you love to sample, Glossybox is for you. Every box has five items, but at least two of them are full size, so it's a good value for the price.
