Spring Style Me Recap

Another Style Me Challenge has come to a close.  Which means that sadly, I'm now in charge of dressing myself again.

But that's okay, because of all the challenges over the past year, I think I've learned the most from this one.  I'm finally figuring out my 40+ style.  Since I work from home, it's always going to be casual.  But by adding an accessory or jacket, I can take the look up a notch or two.  Even though most days nobody sees my outfits, I feel happier when I look better.  Which for me is the whole point when it comes to personal style.

Of all the looks during the 21 day challenge, this one is my favorite.  Even though I'm just wearing white jeans and a tshirt, the necklace, jacket and sandals pull everything together. It was very easy and super comfortable.

Be sure to check out the other Style Me Bloggers today.  Many of them are featuring ladies from the Facebook page who did the style challenge with us. It's an amazing group of women with great style!

  7. I appreciate your comment that you think through this challenge you finally found your own style. I think each challenge has been transformative at some level for me. I totally agree that accessories, a jacket, the right pair of shoes can take a kind of ho-hum outfit and make it personal to you. Love the way you took a simple graphic tee to a professional level with your great blazer. Your outfits are always spot-on and so are your blog posts. Let's do lunch.

    1. Thanks Tamara. I definitely dress better in spring and summer. When it's cold all I want to do is wear big sweaters and jeans.

  18. I agree with you about the jeans and graphic tee. Something about a graphic tee just makes a look more put together. Adding a jacket does even more in the regard.
