Two Teens And Their Mama: Fall Style - Week 3

Fall Style - Week 3

Week three of the Fall Style Challenge, and I failed at taking outfit pictures. I'm blaming it on my mother's surgery, and the fact that taking care of her post-op is like having a baby in the house again.  I'm getting up every four hours to give her medicine, she's completely helpless, and tells me "I can do it", when clearly she can't.

Yep, just like a baby.  It almost makes me appreciate the teenagers.

Speaking of which, don't these two look stylish on their way to Homecoming last weekend?

Please note her genuinely sweet smile (because she is, in fact, genuinely sweet), and T's forced "are you done taking pictures yet" look (because your own mother always drives you crazier than anybody else).

And now we've come full circle.  I'll do better with outfit pictures next week!

  4. I hope your mother's condition improves soon. I haven't had the joy - yet! - of taking care of a parent, but I know it's in my future.

  7. they are soooo cute - nothing like a dressed up photo of your kids (our son has a similar expression in his school ball photos) to balance all the scruffy outfits they normally wear! Good on you for capturing the moment.

  10. Three great looks, Lana! Hope things are getting better for your mom this week. Loved seeing the homecoming photo. If it makes you feel any better I think most boys dislike having their pictures taken. Thanks for linking up with Fabulous Friday!
