Brocade Jacket & Fabulous Friday Link Up

I seem to be on a jacket kick lately, so I thought I'd keep the train rolling with this floral brocade moto.  My mom asked me to go consignment store shopping with her, and this almost new beauty was calling my name.

Brocade is such a beautiful fabric, and I love the blush color and floral pattern on this jacket. And even though I can't quite get it zipped up over the girls, it fits everywhere else, so I'll just leave it open and call it good!

Last week I stopped by Old Navy and found these raw edge flare crops and driving loafers. When I was in college, I wore penny loafers almost every day.  Those shoes are long gone, but these are super comfy and perfect for spring transition weather.

I'm so excited to be co-hosting the Fabulous Friday link up with Jennie today.  She is so sweet and has the most beautiful style.  Be sure to head over to her blog and then link up with us below!Fabulous Friday1

A Pocketful of Polka Dots, Fabulous Friday Linky Party

Meet your host for Fabulous Friday, Jennie of A Pocketful of Polka Dots. ∼ Hey y'all, I'm Jennie and I am a 47 year old frugal fashionista! I am mom to two wonderful (and handsome!) sons and one very spoiled Pomeranian. After spending most of my life in black and boring clothes, I now enjoy trying new trends, am a confessed shoeaholic, believe life is too short for boring hair, and never met a polka dot I didn't like. I am also an avid photographer, reader of Jane Austen, Paleo/Primal enthusiast, and lover of DIY. You can follow me here ∼

My favorite pick this week is from In My Joi.  I just love this pretty, romantic look.  The denim vest adds a little edge, and the floral crown is the perfect finishing touch!

  1. Lana, thank you so much for co-hosting with me! This brocade moto jacket is everything. I never even dreamed there could be such a better combination. You wear it well. Also, when I was in college I wore Penny Loafers all the time. So were the days of the eighties with all our Preppy Style.
