Seattle Gift Guide

Happy Monday, friends!  Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I finally got a little shopping done, but I'm still behind.  There's only two weeks until Christmas so I better kick it in gear!

Luckily The Blended Blog is sharing gift guides today, and I'm sure to find some unique things for my family and friends.  If you've got ideas, link up with us below.

I decided to put together some gifts that are uniquely Seattle.  If you're looking for a little Pacific Northwest flavor, check these out!

1 / No trip to Seattle is complete without a visit to Pike Place Market to watch the seafood vendors toss fish.  This little travel pouch reminds me of the market.

2 / Dale Chihuly was born in the area, and the Garden & Glass Museum at Seattle Center showcases many of his beautiful creations.  Following in the blown glass tradition, locally owned Glassbaby features unique votives and "drinkers".  This purple "mama drinker" is one of my favorites.

3Smoked Salmon is quintessential Seattle.  It's perfect for mailing since it doesn't need to be refrigerated until opening.

4 / The Maple Frango was originally a frozen dessert sold at the tea room of the Frederick & Nelson department store in 1920.  Eventually it evolved into delicious chocolates, bought by Macy's when F&N closed its doors.  These yummy bites are salty and sweet and make a great hostess gift or stocking stuffer.

5 / For the kid on your list, this 35th Anniversary edition classic story explains why there's a red light at the top of the Space Needle.

Now link up and get to shopping!

  6. Not all are true. Everyone has their own way of thinking but I think they have to reconsider. I like to argue for the most accurate results.
