Week seven of Shop My Closet featured lots of Loft, a Valentine's Day sweater, and another poncho from Costco. And many boots, because there's been much rain in my life. Seattle in February = yuck.
As I continue my shopping ban, the strangest thing has happened. I honestly feel no urge to get online or head to the mall and buy anything. While looking through my closet on Sunday, planning outfits and purging a few things that aren't working for me, I was thinking about why I like to shop, and wondering why I haven't missed it that much in the last few weeks.
I finally decided that the size of my wardrobe reflects my enjoyment of putting different looks together, and having variety to choose from. And it seems that shopping from my closet, instead of the store, and wearing everything I own, is fulfilling that need.
So far, so good. But spring is coming, and I've looked at a few trends. The lovely colors, and pretty florals, ruffles and lace are calling my name.
For now I will press on, and avoid the temptations of spring. There are still so many sweaters, and so little time...

Not being interested in shopping lately makes sense. You have put together so many cute looks! That poncho is adorable and I can't believe you found it at Costco!
