Got it?!? On to today's look: styling a wrap/outer layers.
This should have been an easy one for me. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I have many outer layers to choose from. Maybe too many, because I couldn't make a decision. In the end, I went with the Barefoot Dreams Circle Cardigan (aka the baby blardigan) because it is the most comfortable piece of clothing I own, and I wear it on the regular. The material is out of this world soft and cozy, and the cut is very flattering. If I was stuck on a deserted island, and could bring only one sweater, this would be the one. The end.
In other news, I'm on week nine!!! of shopping my closet. Here's what I wore this week, when I took off the baby blardigan:
Wednesday
Another vest. And there are still more to come. I like the maroon color of this one, especially with the striped top.
Friday
Yes, I'm wearing a fancy dress. And heels. This does not happen often, but a friend invited me to a dinner/auction, and we were instructed to wear "Oscar" attire. I don't own such things, so this bandage dress filled in.
Saturday
Lunch and shopping with my mom and sister. I wanted to be warm and comfortable, so this navy sweater and pink plaid shirt were perfect.
Sunday
Another dress? My closet has been taken over by aliens.
Tuesday
Loft cords and another wool sweater. Maybe spring will show up if I wear bright colors?

Next week we'll be styling shades of pink, which should be another easy one for me. If I can make a decision.
I hope you'll link up with us below, or share your looks on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter using #theblendedblogstyle. Next week we'll be adding a giveaway, so be sure to come back!

Your baby blardigan outfit is so cute! I'm also loving your denim dress with the pop of leopard!

Doused In Pink
Thanks Jill. Leopard makes every outfit better!
DeleteI love that you got the baby blardigan. I almost styled the original one. Looks so cozy! I love the colours of the outfit you styled.
ReplyDeleteShoes to Shiraz
I have to admit that I have both of them - but my mom bought the baby one for me for Christmas!
DeleteLove this!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteHa ha! I need to get me a blardigan. Sounds like something someone could live in.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE seeing you wearing dresses! What a shock! Ha ha ; P
bisous
Suzanne
I know, me in dresses - so strange! You would love the blardigan - it's so warm!
DeleteI so badly want a blardigan, but didnt know about the baby one! I love it! great post!
ReplyDeleteI think I like the baby one better - it hangs straighter on me.
Deleteohhhh hot mamma in your oscar attire!! so fun!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your grey jeans (hope that's not my tired eyes playing tricks on me, those are grey, right?!) I need to dig mine out...
Simply Shaunacey
Yep, grey jeans, in honor of you :)! I'm pretty sure I've never been called hot mamma - so thanks!
DeleteI am buying a baby blardiagan if it ever goes on sale! I have the regular one and would wear it all the time if I could! Actually I did when I was at home after the ankle surgery. Love the blue and plaid outfit! the jean dress and leggings. You are inspiring me! How are you keeping track of what you wear? Turning the hangers around? I was thinking about buying an App that keeps track for you...
ReplyDeleteI'm turning the hangers around after I wear something. And I have all the pictures in one file so I can look quickly if I get confused :)!
DeleteLove love The blardigan!! My fav is the chambray dress and the sweater with plaid pop!! You're so cute!!
ReplyDeleteThanks sweet lady!
DeleteI am loving the longer cardigan look, especially for spring. Once my shopping ban is over, I think the long cardi is going on the list. Your jacket and rubber boot combo is so cute.
ReplyDeleteI really like the longer cardigans too. It's hard to find ones that are long enough because I'm tall.
DeleteI always learn so much from you Lana! I never heard the term "Blardigan" before ... but I actually have one in my closet. It's very warm and cozy, but too long to go under my coats and not protection enough for Montana winters without one, so I usually just wear it when I'm home!
ReplyDeleteEvery outfit you show here is really cute - and I hope the Oscar party was fun! (I had to google a "bandage dress" to learn what that term referred to as well!)
So happy to see you, Susan! The auction was really fun, and my dress stayed comfortable all night!
DeleteYour denim dress look is my favorite! And, there is nothing better than a comfy cardigan.

Thanks Lisa!
DeleteI didn't know you owned a baby blardigan! I have yet to purchase one but it is definitely on my radar. All your looks this week are winners! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Darlene. My mom bought the blardigan for me for Christmas!
DeleteI also almost styled the regular blardigan. It truly is like a blanket. Worth every penny!
ReplyDeleteMaybe we need to have a blardigan link up :)!
DeleteSuch a pretty blue theme and really nice cardigan. Also, week 9...no repeats? You are rocking this friend!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's week 9 already!
DeleteI love all of your outfits and the word blardigan ;) so cute!
ReplyDeleteBrooke
pumps and push-ups
Thank you!
DeleteIf I could just raid your wardrobe - now that would be fun. Baby Blardigan is my new favorite term.
ReplyDeleteAnd aren't you getting excited for warmer weather and layers?? I know I am.
I'm SO ready for spring to get here. Although I still have lots of winter clothes to get through!
DeleteGirl, you clean up in a dress real, real well. It is as if you wear them all the time. Hubba, hubba - that black bandage dress shows off you assets so well. Love the vest with the striped blouse, too; gives punch to both pieces. But that blardigan. Oh, my stars! Figure-flattering, lovely blue that makes your eyes POP, and soft, too??? It would be my favorite go-to staple, too.
ReplyDeleteLeslie, you're the sweetest! The blardigan is so soft - I get lots of hugs from the husband when I'm wearing it!
DeleteLana... every outfit is adorable on you!! Wish you lived on the East Coast - I would hire you to be my stylist. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThank you Katie! I think that would be my dream job.
DeleteLove that barefoot dreams cardi. I have the long one but it isn't as versatile. Love the denim dress with the leopard too.
ReplyDeleteI have the waterfall one too, and I agree - this one is easier to wear.
DeleteThat maroon vest and denim dress are SO pretty on you! Def. keepers!!!! I need to style my denim dress for the winter... I haven't tried yet!
ReplyDeleteCarrie

I love that dress - I can wear it all year long. But I forget about it!
DeleteThat chambray dress is too cute! I need to find myself a super sweater like that, all winter long I haven't wanted to wear any of my cardigans because they just make me feel meh
ReplyDeleteThanks Alison!
DeleteI love the cut of the cardigan - very flattering. I like your Style My Closet image too. I need to try that layered look of a plaid shirt not tucked, then a sweater over it. It looks cute. I love pink and navy together!
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favorite color combos too.
DeleteLove all your looks! Like everyone else, I love the chambray dress the best. I think (maybe?) you need to wear more dresses? The support is overwhelmingly positive! 😁 I don't have a blardigan but yours looks lovely on you!

Making the Most of Every Day
I'm really enjoying wearing dresses - maybe when my shopping ban is over I'll pick up a few more!
DeleteLove this look on you!! So stylish and hip!!! Hoping the baby blaridgan is part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale this summer!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie!
DeleteOh, so many great looks this week! Your first and last ones are my favorite. Your coral sweater is so pretty with the shades of brown. Also, I enjoyed seeing you in a couple of different dress looks. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I really like that coral sweater too - and it has wool in it so it's very warm.
DeleteI have never known anyone who owns as many cloth
ReplyDeletees as you do. Love these looks.
I know...that's why I'm not buying anything new :)!
