October Style Series: Boots
It's week two of the October Style Series with my fashionable friends at The Blended Blog. This week we're styling boots, and I have to admit I cheated a little on this one.
Boots are my very favorite shoe. There's nothing like a cozy tall boot when the weather is cold and blustery, and I spend most of fall and winter in them. I'd love to find a pair of over the knee boots, but they don't seem to be long enough for me. Any suggestions?
Back to the point...nobody loves a tall boot more than me. But it's still early fall, and this past week we've had some lovely weather, so instead I pulled out these stacked heel, peep toe booties that I picked up recently.
They're a little higher than I normally wear, but some days you just have to embrace the tallness and get over it. I paired them with an Eiffel Tower shirt that I did not get in Paris - but it's sparkly and I love it - and topped it off with a boyfriend cardigan. Because even though it's sunny, it is October in Seattle.
Speaking of Paris, I promise to share pictures from our trip very soon. Day one is coming up!

DeleteOhh Lana! This is one of my favorite outfits of yours! Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for anything with the Eiffel Tower on it but I also love the all-neutral look with the sexy shoes!
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks Whitney!
DeleteLove those shoes!
ReplyDeleteMe too - except they're a little tall. But thank you!
DeleteOh you are SO blessed to be tall. And to not have bunions ... HA! I adore your shoes and shall have to admire them from afar. No way I could walk in them. Love the look you are sporting today and please know I am beyond jealous.
ReplyDeleteOh Kelly, you are sweet. Most of the time I like being tall, but there are many days where I feel like a huge giraffe in the room!
DeleteSuch a cozy outfit! I had the same issue when searching for OTK boots and I finally found some I love but I still only love them with jeans. They are still not quite tall enough for dresses.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think if I eventually find a pair, I'll only wear them with jeans as well.
DeleteYou look beautiful as always and I love the booties!
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet Laura - thank you!
DeleteSo casual and so put together. Those booties are fabulous! Love everything about this look.

I can't believe you guys have snow already. Hope it doesn't last too long and you get a break before true winter sets in!
DeleteThose Laceup booties are adorable. I just ordered a similar pair in olive. Yours look perfect with the taupe cardigan and adorable Paris tee. Cannot wait to see your Paris photos, Lana.

ReplyDeleteIf they're high enough for you, they would work for me too. I'll check them out!
DeleteI really enjoyed, I would like more information about this, because it is very nice. Thanks for sharing.
