Spring Fever Fashion: Spring Snow
Welcome back to Spring Fever Fashion with my lovely friends at The Blended Blog. Thanks to everyone who linked up with us last week! We keep growing and it's because of all of you.
Last week I talked about the snow at my house and today....it's still snowing. I can't remember a March in Seattle with so much of the white stuff. Regardless, it's always chilly and wet this time of year, so you'll usually find me in sweaters. Surprise, right?
During the winter to spring transition, I put away all of the turtlenecks and heavy knits, and bring out the lighter weight lovelies. Add in a pretty color or fun design, and you can feel spring-y and warm at the same time. Or warm-ish. I added a coat after I took this picture.
Work meetings this week required dresses. I might have tights and boots on, but at least the fun colors, print and bell sleeves remind me that spring will eventually get here. Right?.

ReplyDeleteThis color would be so pretty on you!
DeleteYes it's a clever line navigating weather and a desire to be lighter in our clothing
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm so done with the heavy for right now.

Lana, I am so shocked with the amount of snow the west coast has had this year... I have family in Salem Oregon and they can't believe it... We have had less then usual which I've been grateful for... I hope Spring is on it's way for both of us very soon xox
ReplyDeleteI probably jinxed you, coming there in November. As a side note, I should have stole that birdie sweater.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely bird sweater!
ReplyDeleteOur winter up north has been frigidly cold this week. Big sweaters and scarves are still out in full force! I can't wait to bring out the shorts and sandals. Feels like a long time yet....
ReplyDeleteWhen I visited Paris the Louvre was closed, I cried when I found out. I’ve been to museums all over the world, but I’ve been wanted to visit the Louvre since I was a child. Perfect excuse to visit Paris again. OMG, You saw the Mona Lisa!! You look soooo happy Lana. Look at those Emerald Crowns; I could totally pull that off. Wow, that’s the train station!! It’s incredible. I need your sweater with the 2 birds on it, cute and cozy.
ReplyDeleteThat sweater is the cutest! And the dress is so very me.
ReplyDeleteSpring is in 10 days, and we always get snow into April and sometimes even May, but we thought we were home free. Then today it snowed!
Such a sweet jumper, love the birds on it. Jacqui

Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style. The bird sweater is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the bird sweater! I adore all things with bird prints (although real life birds kind of creep me out)! And your printed tunic dress is super cute, too. I hear you on the snow...we are currently sitting in the middle of a blizzard in northern NY as I am typing this. I am so over it! Thanks for linking up with me On the Edge!
