Welcome back to Spring Fever Fashion with my lovely friends at The Blended Blog. Thanks to everyone who linked up with us last week! We keep growing and it's because of all of you.
Sometimes a trend comes along, and I can't quite figure out how to make it work. I love choker necklaces on every one else, but me, not so much. Truthfully, I didn't wear them back in the 90's either. I wanted to look like Cher in Clueless, but chokers made me feel like I was, well...choking.
When I found this 1 State choker neck blouse, I knew I had the answer.

Oh Lana what a magnificent color on you!!! So feminine and sleek!! You look amazing!!! Are you starting to think what you're taking to Toronto? My head is spinning on that one, lol
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about Toronto packing today. Need to talk to the Canadian experts & see what they're thinking!
DeleteI love that color on you! And, the choker trend really works - you look great. I have always felt the same way - never wore it back in the 90s because it just looked odd on me.

Thanks Lisa! I tried a few chokers and just couldn't do it.
DeleteI'm the same way, I love how chokers look on everyone else but not on me. That top is a great option! So cute and such a gorgeous color on you!

Doused In Pink
Thanks Jill!
DeleteHa ha, that is funny. I just finished taking pictures with the same blouse in black. I also don't like cookers on me, but I also don't like the blouse on me! Yours is such a great colour and looks absolute adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it looks great on you! I saw it in a print too.
DeleteThat pink color looks fantastic on you...and I might have gagged a little seeing that choker on you, hehe.
ReplyDeleteHaha! This blouse would look so pretty on you!
DeleteThat bright pink is gorgeous on you! I haven't seen a choker blouse that I liked yet, but that is probably because I didn't see this one! I am in love with that pretty pink!
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura!
DeletePink is such a great colour on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks friend!
DeleteI don't love chokers but I love choker blouses! Or ones with cool criss-cross patterns on the top. It's just.. different.
ReplyDeleteI like the criss cross ones too - I'm looking!
DeleteI feel that way with this off the shoulder ruffle trend. I don’t like wearing oversized shirts they make me look heavy and strapless bras are uncomfortable so I’ll be skipping that trend this season. I’m dying to try a choker neck blouse. You look great in yours Lana :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary! I've pretty much given up on off the shoulder too. My shoulders are too broad and I totally agree about the strapless bra!
DeleteA choker blouse is something I don't own, but totally want to! I think they're so cute!
ReplyDeleteBrooke
Pumps and Push-Ups
I wasn't sure I'd like it, but the neckline is so fun!
DeleteOhhh, the bright pink is so pretty on you! I have a choker top, but it is white... so not AS exciting as yours! I also love that initial bracelet.

Thanks Carrie! My initials are LLL so I thought it was a fun one!
DeleteYou look adorable in this color Lana! I purchased a similar top back in December and that was as far as I made it with the choker style.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with Ageless Style!
Shelly|The Queen in Between
Thank you Shelly! This color is a favorite - but I don't own much of it.
DeleteI have noticed this trend a lot. I haven't given it a try though, maybe I should!!
ReplyDeleteAbby of Life in the Fash Lane
It's a perfect way to try the choker trend!
DeleteThanks for joining the Top of the World Style linkup party. Great arm candy!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting Nicole!
DeleteThat vibrant pink looks super on you. I haven't seen this built-in choker trend in El Paso but we are generally about a year behind the times. Great bracelets, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Leslie!
DeleteThat color looks fantastic on you! I'm digging the choker trend, but don't have much of anything in my closet (yet!)
ReplyDeleteI think a choker would look perfect on you!
Deletethis bright pink color looks gorgeous on you, Lana! I like the choker neckline and how it makes accessorizing super simple. Oh, I think we all wanted to dress like Cher back in the day... Thanks so much for linking up with Fabulous Friday! Also, I am currently looking for co-hosts, so I hope you will consider the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteWasn't Cher's wardrobe wonderful?
