Spring Fever Fashion: Easter Florals
Welcome back to Spring Fever Fashion with my lovely friends at The Blended Blog. Thanks to everyone who linked up with us last week! We keep growing and it's because of all of you.
Even as a little girl, one of my favorite parts of Easter Sunday was wearing a new spring dress. Every year mom got my sister and I matching outfits, and I felt so pretty getting ready for church and egg hunts. Apparently florals were trendy in 1969 too!
I still enjoy picking out an Easter dress, but with the cool spring we've had this year, I know I'll be too cold to wear it this Sunday. Thankfully there are pastel pants and florals to make me feel ready for the Easter bunny!
These are the Harper pants in Cheek Blush from Old Navy. The fit is similar to the Pixie Pant, but with a straight leg. They have a wide waistband and are so comfy. I love the floral print of this Macy's blouse, and the flutter sleeves, ruffle detail and tie neckline are feminine and fun. I'll probably throw on a cardigan on Sunday, but a denim jacket would be cute too.

DeleteLove the throwback picture...I was also very excited for Easter because of the dress.
ReplyDeleteThe dress and the chocolate - hard to decide which was better!
DeleteI love that blouse, so perfect for Easter. When I was a kid I could not wit to wear hats to church...I'm a little sad that tradition is gone.
ReplyDeleteYes, we always had a little hat too - and sometimes gloves. That tradition should come back!
DeleteSuch an adorable baby! Your floral top is so pretty and looks great with the neutral pants. The lace up detailing and flutter sleeves are wonderful.I need to try the Harper, as the Pixie pants just never fit me right.
ReplyDeleteAww..thanks! Yes, I think you would like the Harper pants. They are a little dressier and fit me much better.
DeleteI rarely wear florals and I don't know why. Not enough in my bold colors. Then I finally found some in a deep reddish pink. LOVE.
ReplyDeleteThe throwback photo is adorable!!!

DeleteYou look so cute in this throwback picture Lana. Florals are always in around Easter Time :) I think all of my Easter Dresses incorporated some kind of flowers lol. These Pastel pants are adorable. I need to go to Old Navy and check out these comfy but stylish pants.

DeleteWhat a perfect Easter/spring outfit. Love the criss-cross straps or laces at the neckline. And the fluttery little capped sleeves. So pretty. Your blush pants are lovely, too. I haven't had much luck finding pants at Old Navy that fit my hips. Boo! Because they have such cute things.
