Spring Fever Fashion: The Oldest Denim Jacket
Welcome back to Spring Fever Fashion with my lovely friends at The Blended Blog. Thanks to everyone who linked up with us last week! We keep growing and it's because of all of you.
In addition to my other obsessions, I have a thing for denim jackets. There are currently five hanging in my closet - white, pink and three washes of blue denim. They're the perfect layering piece, and can be dressed up or down.
This jacket is my favorite. I think it's the oldest piece of clothing I own and still wear on a regular basis. I was going through some pictures and came across this one from...2006, maybe? Look how young the boys are! Wait, look how young I am! And there's the denim jacket. I'm not even sure it was new at that point.
Back to reality, and my .0000001 cents per wear jacket. I'm also loving lace up tops, floral flats, and white jeans. Put them all together and it's the perfect outfit for my lifestyle.
What's the oldest thing in your closet?

You still look just as young and that jacket just as stylish! Nothing like a great jean jacket....timeless!

I have one I love from 2002 and I wear it all the time. Last week I noticed I had made the rips in the elbows bigger, but I didn't care! It's love!
ReplyDeleteDenim jacket perfection that never goes out of style. Oldest piece in my wardrobe is a black cardigan. I remember wearing it to my daughter's high school graduation. That was 2006 as well.
ReplyDeleteAww! I love flashback photos! You look exactly the same, seriously- do you age?! :) Your boys were cute when they were little! I recently got rid of an older denim jacket from ON, because they sent a much nicer and softer one in a Stitch Fix box!! I do have some basics in my closet tho that are ancient!

Denim jackets are seriously the best! I don't think I will ever get rid of mine! When it's a classic style and color it will last forever!
ReplyDeleteyep, perfect outfit! I love denim jackets too...I have 3 different wash jean ones and a white one...although I rose colored one would be fun.
ReplyDeleteDemi is so versatile. I love seeing the old pictures. Demi never goes out of style.
ReplyDeleteThe best pieces are the ones that never go out of style, like this perfect denim jacket. Why would you replace it when you grab for it so often? I love it with the stripped tee above. You always look gorgeous.

You look radiant and I love that whole outfit. I can't even think what I have that's old.....
ReplyDeleteOlder the better. I think the denim just gets softer and easier to wear. Love the look back from years gone by at your babies.
