TBB Style: To Shein or Not To Shein?
First off, I'm sending continued prayers to the people of Houston. The devastation is just unbelievable. On Monday I shared some resources if you're looking for a way to help. And today, my friend Shaunacey posted a link to the Texas Diaper Bank. So many families with babies and small children have been displaced, and they are in dire need of supplies.

I read a LOT of blogs, and at least half of them are fashion related. Every day there are so many cute things that I want to add to my closet, but I refrain. Well, most of the time. Anyway...
Each time I see a blogger share something from Shein, I go to their website and do a little browsing. And while everything is cute, I was worried about the quality and ease of ordering.
A few weeks ago I decided to finally purchase some summer things. The prices are so good, I figured I wouldn't be out much if it didn't work out. I'm happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised!
Ordering was a snap, and my package arrived within ten days with no issues. I bought two tops and a swing dress, and all three are exactly as pictured on the website.
This is my favorite. I love the mixture of gingham and stripes, and the flirty sleeves. The shirt is a nice heavy weight, and the quality is pretty good. I ordered up one size in everything, and the fit is perfect. My shorts are from Loft outlet, and the sandals are from Old Navy.
I give Shein a thumbs up, especially if you're looking to try cute, trendy pieces without spending a lot. My only complaint is the size of their inventory. It's so massive, it would take hours to look through everything.
I'll have pictures of the other two pieces I purchased up on my Instagram later today!

LOVE that top. Shein used to be hit or miss but now I am better at reading he sizing dimensions. That top is seriously so so cute!!
ReplyDeleteI adore that top! Gingham and stripes are just perfect together!
ReplyDeleteSuper fun top- makes me want to smile and then go shopping again.
ReplyDeleteLove that top! I had the same experience with SheIn. I thought it's on the cheap side so if it doesn't work out not a big deal. You can go down that Shein rabbit hole and get lost, I've done it a couple of times and then got overwhelmed and just nixed the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteI love that top! Great choice!
ReplyDeleteThat top is precious! I love Shein because the prices are so good and I've never had any trouble. I think as long as you carefully read the sizing info it's ok! Lookin' good Lana!

Oh my gosh...It's like I wrote this. That's exactly how I feel. I look and worry about the quality and what not and the selection is so huge. Katie and I looked and looked this summer and never did pull the trigger. Now it may be time to get serious...LOL. I'm so happy you had luck and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGingham and stripes! Cute! I had no idea what Shein was until today. So thank you for that!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely top dear! I love the gingham sleeves. Agree with Andrea Nine, Shein can be quite tricky, so you have to be really good in understanding the size dimensions of their clothes.
