Fall Transitions: Plaid Shirt

 So...I spoke too soon.  Fall came in with a vengeance last weekend, and it's been cool and rainy ever since. Time to transition the closet and put away the shorts until next year.

 This is one of my go to outfits for early fall - a lightweight shirt, cropped jeans, and loafers.  Mix in some plaid and you're ready to go!

 The colors of this plaid don't exactly scream fall, but I love the blue and pink together.  The shirt is a lightweight cotton with fun bell sleeves to add some interest.  This is my third pair of loafers from Old Navy, and they are so comfy and great quality for the price.

    We are in the middle of summer here. No idea how that happened but I'm not complaining about it at all.

    Love that plaid shirt on you and can I say, your teeth are looking fantastic and pearly white. Boo to Fall coming so soon. We have been having cooler weather too, but I'm sure we'll get one last hot spell before Halloween, we always do.

      I say boo to fall too, and it's usually one of my favorite seasons. Thank you - I'm just wearing the retainer at night and I love it!

    I might need some new plaid shirts. I have the red/black and white/black and I just want something else! I love the blue/pink colors in this plaid shirt. I also love the sleeves! It is toasty hot here, in the nineties! I want some cooler temps, but not the rain! ;)

    Plaid is always at the top of my list of things to wear. I usually opt for black and read abut this blue and pink is pretty adorable on you.

    Same thing happened here! From Hot and sunny to cold and rainy over night! I packed up my shorts and traded in my flowers for sweaters and my fall wreath. Bring on fall! But winter can stay away.

    Lana, that plaid is so pretty! I love the sleeves and the colors. I'm jealous of your cooler weather, lol. The weather people here are getting excited because the highs are expected to only be around 87 degrees!

    That's a beautiful plaid. I love the colors, but I love the bell sleeves on it even more...even though admittedly I'm actually kinda over the whole bell sleeve thing. They do really up the cute factor in a plaid shirt though. Cute!!!

    I've been wanting to add a pair of loafers to my shoe collection but everything I've looked at is pretty $$ so I've been unsure. Maybe I will check out the ON ones since you say that they are comfy and after all you have three pairs!
