Today we're talking about spring transitions, and I had to laugh, because it's definitely still winter here. It snowed on Saturday and Sunday, and then rained for the next two days. Non stop. I finally gave up and took pictures on the porch, which is less than ideal because the lighting is terrible.
Regardless of the wonky weather, I've packed up my winter sweaters and brought out the pretty colors and floral prints. I still need a top layer, and this blush field jacket from Old Navy is the perfect weight. A pair of Rockstar jeans and a floral scarf, and I'm ready to go, rain or snow.

I have seen 3 blush jackets and you have now convinced me to get one. Love your pink and gray!!! You look adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks friend!
DeleteThat blush jacket looks so good on you! Old Navy has one that I've been eyeing. I cannot believe you guys are still in winter mode. I think it's about to get rather warm here in Louisiana. Hoping y'all have some warmer, sunny days ahead!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you! This one is from Old Navy so it's probably the same one.
Deleteum yup, that's cute! I need a new spring jacket
ReplyDeleteThis one comes in other colors too if you don't want pink.
DeleteI love the blush jacket on you. Photography is my big challenge, too. If you have someone that knows photography - I say, give it a try.

I think I'll talk to my son's friend.
DeleteOh that blush pink jacket is soooooo good on you! And look at how awesome you are lookin' hot momma!

Thank you!
DeleteI really love the pink with the grey! Taking pictures is the hardest part about style blogging. I always wish my poses were better, I had cooler backdrops, etc. But who has the time to figure all that out? I do have my boyfriend take my pictures, though. I've never mastered the tripod/remote situation.
ReplyDeleteI really need to step up my game, I just can't figure out how!
Deleteoh man not having my remote work with the camera, rough! But I have done the back and forth thing and then prayed for the best. One of my cameras can take a burst of photos, so I can get 10 photos with one click of the button...so that helped. Does yours do that at least? That pink blush jacket is so super cute too! Love it.
ReplyDeleteHmm...I don't think it takes bursts of photos, but I'll have to check. That would definitely be helpful.
DeleteNot weird! I use a remote a lot or have Scarlet or Cassidy do it.
ReplyDeleteI love those rockstars!
I love that your daughter takes some of your pictures. My son does a pretty good job but he's never here!
DeleteI feel your pain about photography. Hubby takes my pics but I want to improve them. We just never take the time to actually do it.
ReplyDeleteI think you pictures always look great! George just makes me laugh and I can never take him seriously.
DeleteI love the lighter coat here, Lana!!
ReplyDeleteAs for photography, it's a never ending battle, I think. I would definitely ask that photographer, and pick his brain while using him. That could be worth the price of admission itself if he can help you out for the future.
My hubby just took some online classes that were helpful. And we finally bit the bullet and paid for photoshop. Not that you can tell the difference yet, because we haven't learned to use it...LOL!!
XOXO
