Happy Wednesday, friends! Welcome to another edition of TBB Style. We hope you'll join us and link up your fashion posts below, and check back to see if you are featured!
Today we're sharing graduation looks. My nephew is a senior (or 4th year for my Canadian friends), so I actually have a ceremony to go to next month. It will be held in the evening in an auditorium with bleacher type seats - so no short dresses, and an extra layer is a must.
The ceremony is not super formal, so this London Times maxi dress will be perfect. I bought it at the end of summer last year and completely forgot about it - oops. I'll be bringing the denim jacket because it's still chilly in mid-June, but hope I can get away with flat sandals for all of the bleacher climbing.
The wind was giving me fits while taking these pictures, but then I realized it was helping to show off the pretty skirt of this dress.
Do you have a graduate in your life? If so, congratulations! It truly takes a village of loving family and friends to raise a child in today's world!

You've coordinated this well, and I love the perfect mix of blues. Glad you found it in the closet for just this milestone. Very lovely! Hugs...RO

DeleteWhat a great dress and I love it with the jean jacket!! I deviated from the grad look as am protesting that our youngest will be a senior next year, lol. You look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWill he be a senior next year already?
DeleteI think you chose the perfect look for graduation!
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura!
DeleteThat's a fabulous dress and perfect reason to wear a long skirt!!
ReplyDeleteAnd you are just like me---I always take a jacket for the inside during the summer ----not the outside!!

I always manage to be cold - even during the summer!
DeleteA dress and a denim jacket is totally my jam for graduations and parties!
ReplyDeleteI think it's going to be perfect!
DeleteThat is graduation and beyond! A light jean jacket and a maxi dress is my favorite thing ever.
ReplyDeletePlus it's so comfy!
DeleteI love this look - I really don't understand why everyone gets all dressed up to sit (for hours in the dark) and watch graduation. I get that there will be pictures involved but I want to look like me in them, ya know? Collin is graduating next Tuesday night and I am still contemplating what to wear - it will be beyond hot and humid and we'll be walking about a half mile from the parking lot into the arena so there's that to consider. I'll need to make my mind up soon that's for sure!

Congratulations on your son's graduation. I know you'll look beautiful no matter what you wear!
DeleteThis is a great dress for a graduation, and paring it with a jean jacket is smart and sporty. That pattern on the dress is very pretty. Thank you for the ideas.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary!
DeleteErmagerd, you look 800 feet tall in this outfit!
ReplyDeleteThat's because I am - sigh.
DeleteI love that dress on you! And, with the denim jacket!

Ohh, bleacher type seating does call for a longer skirt! I always love to carry a light cami or denim jacket with me, because I get cold easy. This maxi dress is so pretty, love the patterns! Interesting, I didn't know Canadians called it their 4th year!

That's a great graduation dress. It was cool here a couple of years for Katie's graduation too. That makes it a challenge to dress. I'd say you've nailed it!
