My New Happy: About Me

About Me

Welcome!  I'm Lana, and I'm a 50 something mom to two amazing young men.  I've been happily married to my high school sweetheart and best friend for 28 years.  We live in the Seattle area and own a hardware company.

I could probably live on diet coke, chocolate and cupcakes with a vegetable or two thrown in, but I have to set a better example than that!  I'm the kind of girl who loves to talk, keep things organized, dreams in pink and adores fashion, but I live in a house of men.

I've always loved to write, so this space is my home where I share inspiration and encouragement to find joy, life, and style in the empty nest.

Email me with comments, suggestions, or collaboration requests.  I'd love to hear from you.

  2. I am so very glad that you left me a comment so that I could find you. If we lived closer together I think we would become very good friends, with so many miles between us I guess we will just have to become very good internet friends. I look forward to lurking on your blog and looking around some more.

  7. Oh my gosh! Your "I could live on..." was like you were writing about me...until I gave up diet coke/pepsi almost 4 months ago (I still miss it a little). Love that! I'll never give up chocolate though. That's where I draw the line. LOL!!!
