My New Happy: Add a Little Leopard to Your Life

Add a Little Leopard to Your Life

A pair of leopard print flats was the second item on Alison's Spring Style Challenge list that made me do a double take. I love all the latest trends on everyone else, but when it comes to my own style I'm pretty conservative. Could I really pull off leopard print in my mom wardrobe without looking silly?  Since this is supposed to be a "challenge" I set off to look for a pair of comfy leopard print shoes that wouldn't stand out too much.

I couldn't believe how many cute leopard print accessories there were.  Belts and scarves and purses, oh my!  I settled on these fun Sperry flats.  They are easy to wear and even easier to style.

If you're looking to add a little leopard to your life, the possibilities are endless.  For you scarf fans,  try this one.
A belt is always nice for a more subtle hint.
Last week it was white jeans.  This week it's leopard print.  I can't believe what's going on in my closet.  I'm continuing to step outside of my comfort zone, and I think I like it.  I know my husband does :).

I'm joining up again this week with these lovely ladies.  Check out their blogs for more outfit inspiration!

  1. I think leopard is the easiest print to style once you give it a try. It's like a neutral, and goes with almost everything. Your shoes are so cute! :)

  14. Well, Lana, you can pull off the leopard print just as good as anyone else! I love that you have been stretched in this challenge too. I used to have negative connotations associated with leopard print but I now realize just how versatile it is as well as being a great staple in any wardrobe.

  19. Very cute and not at all out of place on your lively self! I've been allergic to leopard prints forever ... they always scream 50's sex-kitten to me, and even when worn by Audrey and Jackie, it seemed a walk on the tacky side, even for them. But I'm evolving. These look completely charming, and you've styled yourself beautifully!
