Easiest Chicken Noodle Soup

The guys in my house are all sick with colds this week - I'm staying far away.  I did finally take pity on them, and made a pot of this chicken noodle soup.  It's almost as easy as opening up a can of Campbell's, and so much more delicious.

Easiest Chicken Noodle Soup

46 oz. chicken broth or stock (homemade is best, but we're going for easy here)
3 uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
2 cups uncooked medium egg noodles
1 cup sliced carrots
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup sliced celery
1 tsp. dill
1/4 tsp. pepper

Over medium high heat in large saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil.  Reduce heat; simmer 20 minutes or until chicken and noodles are cooked.

Hope everyone has a fun, warm weekend!

  1. I hate canned soup so this made me happy. Scarlet just got over being sick, but she passed it to the boys. I'm safe.. so far.
Thanks for sharing an easy recipe!
