Motivational Monday XLV

Sometimes you need your family, your husband, your kids.  And sometimes you just need your friends.  Thank you, friends.

*****************************************************

It's Monday, so time to link up with Shaunacey for Monday Moments of Gratitude.  This week I'm grateful for:
  • More signs of spring.  I'm hoping if I keep being grateful for sunshine, it will get the hint and stick around for longer than a few hours.

  • Movie dates with my husband.  We haven't gone to the theater together in months, and there's no excuse.  On Saturday we saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, and while it wasn't quite as good as the original, it was heartwarming and sweet.  Plus there was popcorn.

Style Perspectives continues to grow each week!  Be sure to come back on Wednesday for bright pants and join us.  I'm never sure how to style colored pants, so I can't wait to see what you ladies come up with.

  2. We watched the Revenant this weekend. A little too bloody for me, but it was still a good movie.

  5. We went on a movie date on good Friday! We saw the new Batman and Superman movie. Sadly, I didn't get popcorn and I craved it all day. Luckily he made it for me at night.
And today is so rainy and cold, but we saw so many flowers coming out over the weekend.

  9. Yay for date nights! I loved the first movie too. It was filmed in the part of Toronto where I went to college- which makes me a nerd for knowing that! I'm so jealous of your signs of spring !

  12. Friends are the best, both "real life" and blog! Every time the previews come on TV for that movie I say, "That looks funny!" and my husband reminds me that I already said that. Hopefully, he'll get the hint an take me.

  14. I hope the rest of your Easter weekend was wonderful as well, Lana - and that this week has started well. Wishing you a week of sunshine! We are expecting some rain here today.

  15. Let the rain stop and the sun shine through! I am grateful for this too. The loss of a good friend this winter has hit me really hard because a good girl friend who I've known for decades is really a loss of a piece of my heart.

  16. I enjoyed popcorn and a nap during Spiderman vs Batman or Superman vs Thor or whatever it was. Hurray for signs (breath-taking) of spring, dates with popcorn and friends. XO
