Motivational Monday XLVIII

Motivational Monday - I believe I'm here for a reason and my purpose is greater than my challenges. twoteensandtheirmama.com

And I also believe that our purpose changes as we travel through life.

My purpose for over twenty years has been to grow my two sons into good young men. Mission almost accomplished.

So now what?  I've been giving it so much thought lately, you'd think I would have an answer.

I was inspired at the BAM Conference to believe that maybe I really can be a writer. Hopefully that's part of my new purpose.  But what else?  There must be more.

Our challenges are great, but our purpose is greater.  It's out there, and I will find it.

Time for Monday Moments of Gratitude with Shaunacey.  This was one of those really strange weeks - amidst great sadness, there was also much to be grateful for.  Such as:

  • An entire weekend with my favorite guys.  Saturday morning track meet, followed by shopping and dinner in Ballard, where we had the most delicious Mexican food at Senor Moose.  Sunday we saw "The Jungle Book", and it may have moved into my list of top ten movies of all time.  Visually stunning and perfectly acted, it's a must see on the big screen.
  •  Cupcakes.  Is it okay to be grateful for cupcakes?  Because I am.

Head over to The Blended Blog today, where Christy is sharing spring fitness. And don't forget to join us on Wednesday for Style Perspectives.  Up this week is a plaid look with Alison!

  7. Cupcakes! And a restaurant with Moose in the title!
I really want to see Jungle Book, but Des is too young, I worry. I will take Scarlet soon.
And yes, we all have different purposes and jobs throughout life. It's fluid.
