Friday Loves: Toronto

It's been a month since my magical trip to Toronto to meet up with my friends from The Blended Blog, and I'm finally sharing my loves from the weekend.  Toronto was the perfect choice for a girl's getaway!

Obviously, Niagara Falls is a must see.  Even though we took the longest bus trip ever to get there, it was totally worth it in the end.  Plus we got to wear fashionable poncho's!

The Grand Hotel was the perfect choice for our getaway.  Our two room suites were spacious and comfortable, and the rooftop hot tub complete with giant music video screen was so much fun.  Plus, complimentary breakfast every morning!

The city of Toronto is beautiful.  On Saturday we took a loooooong walking tour to Kensington Market, Graffiti Alley, and everywhere in between.  I loved all the colors!

So much delicious food, from Poutine to Nanaimo Bars.  Good thing we did so much walking in between.  Just don't order a "Caesar " and expect to get a salad.  Unless you like clam juice, you've been warned.

Of course, there was shopping!  I finally got to visit Aritzia and bought Deena's skirt.. Nobody left Toronto empty handed.

My biggest love from the weekend was spending time with these wonderful ladies.  They are a special group of women, and I'm so grateful to know each and every one of them.  Here's to next year!

And a special shout out love to Nicole, who was our group photographer and took the best pictures.  She's one talented lady!

  1. You blended blog ladies are my favorite! All so sweet, with big hearts that just come through the screen!

    Pumps and Push-Ups

  2. Let me just say again how jealous I am that all you good looking babes got together! So much girl fun!

  3. So fun seeing my city featured! : )

  4. Can't believe that was a month ago! Looks beautiful. I love the pink ponchos.
I've been to Niagara Falls quite a few times. I've been to Toronto twice. Changed my life! I'm not sure if it was the city itself, or the state I was in when I went there, or a combination of both. I can't wait to take my kids there one day.

    1. Toronto would be a great city to visit with kids. I can't believe it's been a month already either!

  5. Looks like you ladies had such a great time, so nice to see women supporting other women and bonding like this, love it!

  6. I enjoyed hearing it through your voice!

  7. I visited Toronto a few years ago and had a blast. I went for a Caribbean concert call Caribana, the streets were full of 1000s of people and some how some way it was controlled and fun and I even felt safe. The police officers were super cute and it was the cleanest city I’ve ever visited. I love Toronto and can’t wait to come back. I love that the Blended Blog Ladies got together, looks like you guys had a great time! Thanks for sharing all of these wonderful pictures.

  8. Aw, I miss you so much now. Also- I forgot about my Blue Jays' blazer...

    1. You should have bought it - Dan would have loved that :)! I miss you too.

  9. Awe I miss you ladies... and also Nanaimo bars lol now I'm hungry
