A Vision of Belong

Well, it's Wednesday and I'm actually here!  It feels like a win already.  My plan is to blog once a week, sharing a combo of fashion and whatever else is on my mind.  Thank you so much for reading my words.

Have I mentioned Belong Lifestyle a time or two?  If you missed my big announcement, you can read it here.  This month marks the one year anniversary of Deena and Abbie's big adventure, and I'm thankful every day that they asked me to come along.

During January we're running Daily Deals every day, offering free shipping (even to the US), and sharing the celebration with all of our customers.  The IG photo challenge is off to a great start, and every week we draw a winner for a Belong Gift Card.  There's still time to participate...

2019 was a great year, and we're full of new ideas and ready to grow.  We have a big vision for this little business, and I hope you'll come join us.

Speaking of vision, have you ever made a vision board?  I did one last year on my own, and was surprised at how many of the things I included actually came to be.  My sister and I decided it would be fun to take a class and see what might happen by putting a little more thought into it.

Plus there were snacks, which is always a bonus.

The instructor started by having us take 15 minutes to write down 50 goals we have for 2020.  They could be big, like travelling to Italy, or small, like making the bed everyday.  Coming up with 50 things was harder than I thought it would be.

Then she talked to us about manifesting, goal setting, and being specific about what we want.  Next we used our list to come up with the five MOST important things, and then tried to group the other goals under the main ones.

Finally, we spent the next hour creating our board, using our list and pictures, magazines, stickers and markers.  In the end, my vision board truly represents where I want to go and what I want to do this year.  We ended the evening with a 30 minute guided mediation, and I left feeling refreshed and ready to take on life.

It's always fun to spend time with my little sister, even if her vision board was prettier than mine.  Yes, I know it's not a competition.  Yes, sibling rivalry still exists, even when you're an adult.

  1. It's not a competition...we say that all the time. But I will say that you are biased...I'm sure yours was just as fabulous!!!
Tell us more about Belong....I can't wait to get my new pieces!!

    1. I'm happy with it! Did you order something - I don't see it?

  2. I don't think I could create a vision board on my own and love the idea of taking a class to create one! I'm sure yours was just as amazing as your sisters! Happy 2020!

    1. Happy New Year! It turned out better with an instructor!

  3. Are those mini doughnuts I see? WOW. I'd definitely enjoy vision boards with snacks!
And I love your outfit. The jacket and dress are spectacular, but could be almost ruined by the wrong shoes. Those boots are fabulous.

  4. This process sounds amazing. I had to pause while reading the post because I was so stuck on thinking about 50 goals. I don't think I could come up with that many! Anyway, I am so happy to have you back here in whatever capacity you choose to do it in. Also, I am dying to see if that midi dress is one of the deals because the maxi I feel would just be too long for me, but the midi may just be what I need!

    1. Stay tuned, who knows what Deena has up her sleeve! I had a hard time coming up with 50 things too!

  5. Vision to belong great article title is very attractive force me to read why don't make animation video or whiteboard for your story just search Video Animation services and take you want

  6. I am moving to Boston from Houston and I have NO IDEA what to get for winter clothes! Every tells me I need to get winter boots, but I don't know anything about winter boots. What are some good brands and what should I look for in a good winter boot? I don't want anything ugly.
