TBB Asks: Vacations

Another month has flown by, and it's time to link up with my Blended Blog babes for TBB Asks.  Today it's all about vacations - one of my favorite subjects!

1/ Yes and yes!  Soon we'll be headed to our yearly vacation spot in Manzanita, Oregon.  And then in August I'm off to visit one of my favorite Canadian's to see what life is like in her world.

2/ If I'm headed somewhere new, I like to pack it all in.  Usually I plan months ahead of time because I'm worried we might miss something good.

3/ Any month is good for me.  Can I just vacation in all the months?

4/ So far that's been a big NO.  But I'm intrigued by the Alaska Inside Passage cruises, and since they leave from Seattle, one may be in our future.

5/ When we're vacationing at the beach, my husband and I like to get up early and go for a long walk, then come back and make breakfast before everyone else gets up.  Most of our big life decisions have been discussed on morning beach walks.

6/ My surprise trip to Paris.

7/ I'm a notorious over packer.  Plus I like to take everything out of my suitcase and hang it up when I get to where I'm going.  So that's packing, unpacking, packing, and unpacking a ridiculous amount of stuff.  Must work on this!

8/ Depends on the vacation.  If it's just the hubby and I, we like to stay in a hotel.  But if there are kids/family involved, a condo or house work better.  We've had very good luck with VRBO.

9/ Everything!  Probably should work on that too.

10/ Warm.  Although a ski vacation would be fun some year, or that cruise to Alaska.  But for the most part, I want sunshine and heat.  And probably a beach.

Link up with us below and share all your vacation plans!

  1. Yay! It's vacation time. Sounds like you'll be going some places that are perfect for some scenic pictures. I tend to take vacations when the weather is cooler, but I'm still hoping to get my trip to Switzerland or Alaska some time soon. So keep your fingers crossed for me! Enjoy and Hugs...RO

  5. I like to bring all the clothes and then hang them all up as soon as I arrive and put things in the dresser. My older son is the same way. My husband and younger son live out of their suitcases and it drives me crazy! A surprise trip to Paris sounds so romantic!!!

  6. I hang up all my clothes too. This vacation I put all the hanging clothes in a long tote, all I had to do was pull them out and hang them up. The boys threw some shirts in there too! Yay to beach walks!

  7. Ahh, I agree... nothing beats a nice and relaxing beach vacation. I need to try the VRBO sometime, so many rave about it. Aww, your beach walks sound so nice with your husband! It's so good to have time to talk uninterrupted. Also, love that you make breakfast for everyone after you walk!

    1. You should definitely give VRBO a try, especially if you're traveling with your kids. It's so nice to have a kitchen and a place to wash clothes!

  11. Most visitors never achieve Bloomsbury, celebrated for its abstract characters in the mid twentieth century, and there you will likewise take in somewhat about Charles Dickens who has a relationship with that piece of London.la quinta inn kansas city
