Create28 Week One

Welcome to the first week of Create28 with The Blended Blog!  Be sure to head over there for the recap and to see how each featured blogger interpreted the looks.

For the most part, I'm still shopping my closet, so it was fun to see what I could come up with for each prompt.  Here goes!

A surprise look...

We were headed to T's senior awards night, so I needed to wear something besides jeans. Anytime I put on printed pants (see the polka dots?), it's a surprise!

Nautical navy...

Graduation party at our house and it was so hot outside.  I have to admit this swing dress is new.  I may or may not be doing a little emotional shopping right now.  BUT - it's Max Studio, purchased at Marshall's on clearance for $15, and I know I'll get a ton of use out of it.  I love the crochet detail at the top and it's so comfy.

Warm weather wedding...

No weddings to attend, but I wore this to a piano recital.  It's very old, from Old Navy, and such a fun color for summer.

Maxi Dress...

A maxi dress with my white denim jacket = the perfect outfit.

I hope you'll link up with us below, or share your looks on Instagram with the hashtag #theblendedblogstyle.  Here's what's happening in week 2:
